Question by Juta K: credit cards – what happens if you go over your monthly allowance?
Hey guys I have a Royal Bank of Scotland students credit card. I have a limit of 250 pounds a month but i wonder what happends if i use it for lets say 300 pounds? Will they hard-core charge me or just charge? I am waiting for my payment slip and need to pay for the accommodation so i consider paying with credit card.
Best answer:
Answer by sem3578A credit card does not allow you to charge more than the card allows. If there is just 250 pounds on the card then the card will only go thru for a purchase of 250 pounds.

Question by Leah: Where to go for our first holiday away together?
My boyfriend is 22 and I’m 17 and we’re planning on taking a holiday together in August. We want somewhere nice and hot since we live in Scotland, but also cheap. We have a last minute free accommodation timeshare thing available from my parents which you can book at a maximum of 30 days before. I’m looking for some recommedations of places that would suit us please.

Answer by Timmy500Well if your coming to the U.S. try Florida. They have tons of beaches and great tourist attractions. Or Myrtle Beach in South Carolina. Anywhere you go just make it an adventure.

Question by wickchick: Is the general admission ticket for Silverstone any good?
Thinking of taking my boyfriend to Silverstone for his birthday. Could really only afford the general admission as opposed to the grandstand tickets. Do you still get decent views etc with these tickets? Not a grand prix fan myself so don’t know how it works or how the venue is set up! Also, how easy is it to travel to and from the venue? Live in Scotland so have to take accommodation and public transport into account! Thanks in advance.
Best answer:
Answer by val f1 nutteryou can still get great views by going general admission. i take it you will be getting a weekend ticket. use the Friday when they are practising as a recon mission. walk round the track and see where you will get the best view for you. i would recommend up by hanger (bit of a trek though). on race day you will have to be up mega . . . → Read More: Is the general admission ticket for Silverstone any good?

Question by Jen: I need a job in Scotland, but I am American.?
My goal is to get a working visa, but I need a job offer letter before I can get the work visa. How should I go about this? I am already in the South UK at this time, so I could go to Scotland now. Also, how much money would I need to take with me if I am just looking for temporary accommodation whilst looking for work? I just need something to get on my feet, so how much would that be and why? Thank you for your answers…
Best answer:
Answer by froggequeneIf you are here on a tourist visa or you have entered the country as a tourist you cannot search for work & you cannot change your status from tourist to worker while you’re in the UK
